In todays workshop we used our font from last week and scanned them in to be used in (Adobe illustrator.) Step by step on: http://design.tutsplus.com/tutorials/the-basics-of-drawing-type-creating-your-own-handwritten-font–cms-23089 At first we practiced the use of anchor points (pen tool- P) e.g. image of fruit; working around the object and changing them to block colours. I believe i use too many anchor points and i could improve this by leaving a bigger space between them and curving the line better. Further more leaving the leaf out of the anchor points, or creating a separate one with a green colour would make the image look more recognisable.

Smooth tool removes all pencil lines, and creates a bolder font where mistakes can be removed and perfected. I found this lesson rather difficult but after some practice in my spare time i will increase in confidence.
